There is no better way to explore the mysteries of Mount Kailash than by taking the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra. The Mount Kailash often called the center of the world, is revered among the religions of Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism. Kailash Manasarovar Yatra revolves around the abode of Lord Shiva, the Mt. Kailash (6638m). In short, a trek that entices spiritual awakening and provides a purpose to life, that is the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra.
The Kailash Manasarovar Yatra via Kerung provides you the opportunity to witness the prevailing cultures and traditions of two different countries, Nepal and Tibet. Explore the hilly settlements of Syabru and Rasuwagadhi, and later embark on a religious journey to the plateau of Tibet. In this trip, you’ll be warmly intrigued by the Tamang and Sherpa people in Nepal and the Tibetan people in the towns like Darchen, Dirapuk, and Saga. One thing they both have in common is that they follow Buddhism which is portrayed in their daily lives. The trek begins at Kathmandu, and it is also the lowest elevation in the trail, which stands at a height of 1300 meters. As the trail gradually gains pace, we find ourselves in the highest elevation of the trail which is the Dolma La Pass. It stands at a height of 5650 meters. The initial flights and walks are easy, but the long Kora walks are strenuous, and in these heights, you might be prone to altitude sickness. The best seasons to undertake the trek are in spring and autumn as the weather is clear.
This trek can be finished a bit early, and if you have extra time, you can use the extra day for Himalayan mountain flight and Manakamana day trip. Regardless of your choice, the trip will be memorable.
We, at Nepal Ascent Treks, have been providing company and travel services to our clients in trips to Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan. We offer you with excellent guidance and a friendly environment for traveling. Join us to experience a memorable journey!

Everest Base Camp

AUFantastic Trip
My daughter and I did the 15 day Everest base camp trek. Very happy with our choice of Nepal Ascent Treks. Sittal was very responsive in answering all my questions before the trip and really took care of us during the trip. Our guide, Deepak, and porter, Bissnu, were awesome and very attentive. We felt we typically had the best rooms at the nicest teahouses. Kathmandu sightseeing was very personalized. The little extras provided by Nepal Ascent Treks – sim card, duffel bag, nice shirt (not cheap T-shirt), and massage were great. Would highly recommend Nepal Ascent Treks!
